In trying to automate this I wiped my plex database several times, so don’t hold me responsible! ⚠️ Honestly, this generally just led to me not installing the upgrade, because I’ve got enough of that in my professional life ⚠️ standard disclaimer - this isn’t production-ready, it’s homelab/project ready. If you have the same, you’ll know that this isn’t really easily updatable via the Synology store, and you generally need to manually download the latest package and install it through the GUI. I have a small Plex server at home running on a Synology NAS.
